A leading Mechanical and Electrical service provider is seeking a MEP Quantity Surveyor to join its expanding team on a full-time, permanent basis in Greater London. Operating on high-profile projects for direct clients and Tier 1 contractors, the company has grown significantly in recent years, driven by its people-focused approach and commitment to excellence.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated, team-oriented individual seeking a challenge in a dynamic organisation. Reporting to the Commercial Manager, responsibilities and requirements include:

Key Responsibilities

Pre-Contract

  • Prepare Tender Risk Analysis and contract documentation.
  • Develop Project Execution Plans and Procurement Strategies.

Contract Management

  • Evaluate and negotiate subcontract terms.
  • Manage procurement schedules and subcontract documentation.
  • Provide advice on contractual claims and ensure compliance with project documentation.

Risk & Change Management

  • Maintain variation logs and recover non-liability costs.
  • Review site programs for delays and manage commercial risks.

Cost Management

  • Generate accurate cost control reports.
  • Administer and value subcontractor accounts using financial systems.

Value & Cash Management

  • Maximise project value through work measurement and account preparation.
  • Ensure positive cash flow through payment administration.

General

  • Enhance client relationships to secure future opportunities.
  • Present monthly project and business review reports.

Knowledge & Experience

  • Strong knowledge of contract law and M&E systems.
  • Five years’ experience as a Project Quantity Surveyor or higher in M&E services.
  • Proficiency with estimating/measurement tools (e.g., Bluebeam) and Microsoft Office.
  • Claims and EOT experience is desirable.
  • Fluent in English.
