Residential Conveyancer or Paralegal or Legal ExecutiveLocation: Finchley - exact location will be provided to interested candidatesPart-time or full-time hours Salary around £45,000 p.a. depending on experience - negotiableHybrid role - some work from home(we do not advertise the exact location for client confidentiality purposes but are happy to provide this to anyone who is genuinely interested)  An experienced Residential Conveyancer, Paralegal, or Legal Executive is required for a Hertfordshire based law firm. This position is ideal for an individual who would prefer not to have the pressure of manage their own caseload but are willing to assist and work collaboratively within a team. The role is ideally full-time hours but the firm are happy to consider someone looking for less hours. It may be suitable for someone with childcare responsibilities seeking reduced hours or a less demanding role, or for any candidate wanting to take a step back from a fee earner role but would look to return to fee earning in the future. Hybrid working offered - Free on-site secure parkingRequirements of Residential Conveyancer or CILEX Legal Executive or Paralegal:
  • Ideally 5 years experience in Residential Conveyancing but would consider less
  • Comprehensive legal knowledge of residential conveyancing
  • Experience in high-volume residential conveyancing
  • Ability to perform under pressure
  • Proficiency in drafting legal documents
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with clients, agents, brokers, lenders and colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail, organisational, and prioritisation skills
  • Must be willing and able to do own typing work without a case management system
Duties for Residential Conveyancer or CILEX Legal Executive or Paralegal:
  • Deal with all of the legal aspects of a residential conveyancing transaction, satisfy AML requirements and source of funds and gifts
  • Leasehold and freehold
  • Raise enquiries on title and on the lease
  • Deal with management pack
  • Prepare reports to clients on the transaction
  • Exchange contracts
  • Prepare completion statements and deal with completion matters
The firm is CQS accredited, you will be an integral part of a small and friendly team. Renumeration for Residential Conveyancer or CILEX Legal Executive or Paralegal:
  • Salary is negotiable based on qualifications and experience, around £45,000 p.a. salary is negotiable
  • The firm closes between Christmas and New Year given as additional holiday
