Graduate Copy Rights Administrator£30,000 + 10% bonusW11 – LondonI am looking for a Law Graduate that has knowledge and proven experience working with copy right law. The company broke images to broadcasting marketing campaigns and advertising (all mediums).The main focus of the role will be to determine when images uses are not licenced, inform the infringer, negotiate a settlement and liaise with Legal Partners, as necessary.The Role:
  • Liaise with case data providers and the Rights Control Admini9strator in all matters relating to determine the legitimacy of potential rights control cases.
  • Launch rights control cases on a weekly basis including;
                      - researching the infringers company                      - calculating settlement fees due                      - communicate with infringers and/or their lawyers to negotiate settlement and provide billing information to finance
  • Liaising with the Creative Director and Sales Director regarding determining whether cases are suitable to be pursued through the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court (IPEC) Small Claims, filing documents, and corresponding where necessary with the court or liaising with legal partners as necessary.
  • Meet and exceed income targets as assigned.
  • Maintain service levels and drive revenue through business development and internal relationship management.
  • Negotiate pricing within established guidelines.
  • Maintain good records and a high level of organisation.
  • Report monthly revenue and other key performance indicators to the Sales Director.
Essential requirements:
  • Educated to degree level (ideally Law)
  • Previous experience within the legal profession
  • Knowledge of copyright law
  • At least two years’ experience in an office environment
  • Highly motivated and results driven individual
  • Must be diplomatic in dealings with clients an colleagues
  • Able to remain calm under pressure
