A prestigious Intellectual Property firm is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented IP Renewals Administrator to join its busy team. As the successful candidate, you will play a key role in handling both internal and external communications related to Intellectual Property rights renewals. About the Role:

In this IP Renewals Administrator role, you will be responsible for managing a range of tasks related to intellectual property renewals, ensuring that all communications are handled efficiently and deadlines are met. The role involves sending renewal reminders, processing correspondence from intellectual property offices, managing take-over cases and updating the renewal cycle in Inprotech. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in IP renewals who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working within a collaborative team.

Key Responsibilities:The role primarily focuses on ensuring efficient handling of communications within the department. Responsibilities include:

  • Checking reminders from UKIPO, EUIPO, WIPO, Irish IPO and global associates
  • Sending renewal reminders to clients for patents, designs, trademarks and domain names
  • Obtaining cost estimates from a global network of associates
  • Creating invoices and processing renewal correspondence from IPOs
  • Managing take-over cases and updating renewal cycles within Inprotech
  • Providing additional support as required by the renewal team or wider firm

Candidate Requirements:

  • Experience in intellectual property renewals is essential
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team
  • Excellent attention to detail, time management and the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Familiarity with electronic records and billing systems, especially Inprotech, is highly desirable
  • Willingness to work additional hours when necessary to meet deadlines
