We are looking to recruit a Residential Conveyancing Paralegal for a highly regarded law firm based in Camden, London

After an initial 4 week induction period, hybrid working of 2 days in the office and 3 days at home is on offer.

You must have recent and relevant experience in a similar role and your responsibilities will include the following:

  • Opening new files and inputting new instructions onto the case management system and digital client onboarding platform.
  • Maintenance and update of CMS case/matter data relevant to transactions and parties.
  • Processing and checking client initial documents on the case management system.
  • Drafting sale contracts and other documents/correspondence.
  • Instructing searches.
  • Preparing for and handling completions.
  • Carrying out post completion tasks including registrations at HM Land Registry and filing of SDLT returns at HMRC.
  • Maintaining business diary of key dates and tasks.
  • Dealing with client enquiries in person, on the telephone and by email.
  • Liaising with external parties, to include other Solicitors, Estate Agents, Lenders and Mortgage Brokers.
  • Compliance with Conveyancing Quality Scheme, statutory obligations and firm policies including Anti-Money Laundering.
