Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal

Location: North London

Salary: £40,000

Prestigious North London law firm are looking for an experienced residential conveyancing paralegal to join their established property team. The team is renowned for the high-quality service they provide their clients.

You will be managing your own caseload with minimal supervision and so a small selection of duties will include:

  • Carrying out property searches
  • Dealing with all aspects of the Land Registry Portal including obtaining OCEs, title documents and applications
  • Submitting AP1 and SDLT forms
  • Drafting reports on title / reviewing and reporting on title
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Drafting contracts of sale
  • Scheduling of deeds to mortgage lenders
  • All aspects of post completion work including dealing with notices of transfer and charge, share certificates, stock transfer forms, deeds of covenant

The client is looking for a candidate with at least 12 months’ experience as a conveyancing paralegal and you must be able to deal with all aspects of the residential transaction from instruction through to post-completion. Exceptional communication and client skills are also essential as you will be expected to build rapport and relationships with established and new clients and act on your own initiative.
