This is an exciting opportunity to join our Nursing Home to work as a Cook to prepare, cook and serve meals. As part of the Catering Team, your role will include general food preparation while maintaining high standards of cleanliness to meet HACCAP and in line with requirements of legislation.
It is essential that you have cooking experience, good time management, excellent social and verbal communication skills and are a reliable person.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Catering Department to manage and deliver catering services in the home.
- Prepare nutritious food and beverages to a high standard
- Prepare special dietary meals as needed
- Support cost-effective stock control to minimise waste
