Role Overview

We are looking for dedicated and passionate Line Cooks to join our kitchen team at Draughts. As a Line Cook, youll play a key role in preparing and executing high-quality dishes, ensuring food is served efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organised kitchen.

This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment and takes pride in delivering consistently great food.

What Were Looking For

We are seeking skilled, hardworking, and reliable Line Cooks to support our kitchen team. The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:

Passion for Food & Cooking, A genuine enthusiasm for preparing high-quality food and ensuring every dish meets our standards. You will take pride in flavour, presentation, and consistency.

Strong Kitchen Skills & Efficiency, Experience in a busy kitchen environment, including grill work, frying, plating, and prep tasks. You will work quickly and accurately to keep up with service demand.

Teamwork & Communication, A positive, collaborative attitude that allows you to work effectively with other chefs, kitchen porters, and front-of-house staff. Strong communication is key to keeping service running smoothly.

Attention to Detail & Cleanliness, A strong commitment to maintaining a clean, organised, and hygienic kitchen. You will follow food safety and hygiene regulations to ensure compliance at all times.

Ability to Work Under Pressure, The ability to stay calm and efficient during busy services. You will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment, ensuring food is served quickly without compromising quality.

Adaptability & Willingness to Learn, An eagerness to learn new skills, take on feedback, and develop within the role. You will be expected to follow recipes, assist in prep work, and help with stock rotation.
