A Wealth Management firm based in Stansted is seeking an experienced IFA Administrator, paying up to £31,000 plus great benefits, to support their team of advisers and client managers.

This is a really great opportunity for a candidate who comes from a financial background to work in a firm that really does set itself apart in the industry. Putting its customers and working culture at the heart of their business.

There will be opportunity for growth and development within the role, but alternatively if you are looking to stay within administration, then there will be the ability to hone those skills too.

The Administrator will be supporting the team and working collaboratively in the following duties:

  • Create and maintain accurate client records on the back-office systems and platforms
  • Open and maintain client files to the required compliance standards with all appropriate KYC information
  • Prepare client documentation and correspondence pre and post meetings
  • Send Letters of Authority and gather accurate information
  • Assist with obtaining illustrations and application forms
  • Assist Client Managers in preparation and implementation of advice
  • Check accuracy and completeness of new business documentation as well as process new business applications
  • Regularly monitor and chase up progress on applications and other transaction
  • Produce accurate portfolio valuations
  • Assist with the servicing of fund top ups, withdrawals, switches and rebalances
  • Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for clients
  • Provision of ad-hoc data, analysis and reports as required by management or Client Managers
  • Record fees
  • Assist Client Managers in preparation of client catch up and review meetings

The ideal candidate will come from the finance industry and have ideally two years working in an administrative capacity. You will have a good understanding of IFA regulations/ workings as well as FCA compliance. A can-do and collaborate attitude to work, all the of the team pull together to support one another to make sure that the customer has the best service possible!
