We have a fantastic opportunity to join our International Construction team as an Account ExecutiveYou do not need construction insurance experience and we welcome candidates with insurance experience from other business areas such as property and casualty.You’ll work within WTW’s dedicated placing team, administering and arranging construction related insurances. You will need to develop a full understanding of the client’s business, requirements and the services WTW provides, having the ability to work with a minimum level of supervision and being willing to undertake additional associated responsibilities within the WTW team as required.  The RoleDay to day client service, addressing requests and queries from the client, insurers and other third parties, including:o   Advice on covero   Contract reviewso   Placement of cover under the client’s global programmeso   Negotiation and arrangement of local policies as requiredo   Issuance of evidence(s) of insurance as requiredo   Ongoing servicing following placementProvision of technical, industry and subject matter expertise where requiredUnderstanding the client’s business and risk management needs and delivering them through the provision of ongoing serviceUnderstanding the client’s insurance programmes and utilising them in accordance with the client’s insurance and risk management philosophyMaintenance of information on the client databaseApplication of technical and client knowledge to preparation of documentation required to renew/place business within London and overseas markets (including MRCs, endorsements, etc.)Preparation of market presentations/underwriting submissions as requiredInterpretation and review of quotations, to ensure fit for purpose and meet client demands/needsNegotiation of terms and cover alterations with insurers and presentation to the clientCompletion of reports as required – applying both technical and bespoke client knowledgeCompletion of summaries of insurance for all interested parties (client/network) – applying both technical and client knowledgeAttendance at key client and market meetingsWorking with clients, insurers and overseas network to address and resolve technical and other issuesLiaison with other divisions/offices of WTW to access specialist expertise and provide local servicing where neededThe RequirementsTechnical knowledge of insuranceStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with the client and insurers and maintain strong relationshipsAble to deal professionally with internal and external contacts, able to represent the Business Unit and the wider WTW Group with a high level of credibilityExcellent client focus with proven experience of delivery of high levels of direct client serviceAbility to analyse situations and provide recommendations to identify optimum solutions for clientsGood understanding of the processes that support the operating model and strategy for the Business Unit and WTW Great Britain overallExperience of working with and adhering to processes and systems that support client service deliveryIntermediate level of IT systems (as a minimum Microsoft Office)Intermediate knowledge of data analysisGood presentation skillsWorking knowledge of the construction industryPreferably educated to a degree levelPreferably with professional qualifications of ACII or similarAt WTW, we believe difference makes us stronger.
