Our Client, a firm of Chartered Financial Planners & Employee Benefit Consultants is seeking a Group Risk Administrator to provide support to their Corporate Employee Benefit Consultants and clients in the ongoing servicing of existing clients and the processing of new business.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a firm that has many years of experience and willingness to support and develop those who have the ambition to become a Financial Planner or Employee Benefit Consultant.

You will ensure that client records are up to date and that internal systems and processes are followed.

Some of your responsibilities include:

* Ensure timely delivery of employee benefits scheme processing for group risk, group private

medical insurance and other schemes/policies

* Provide administrative support for new and existing clients and schemes.

* Manage annual renewal and market reviews for group risk schemes and healthcare schemes.

* Process group risk claims and healthcare claims queries

* Ensure compliance documents are accurate and up to date.

* Organise and prepare for client meetings.

* Complete follow up actions from client meetings as instructed.

* Check and issue Policy Documentation.

* Provide new business quotations for group risk and healthcare schemes.

* Issue invoices and updates to clients.

* Draft proposition documents, reports and presentations for consultants.

* Undertake project activity

Deal with fee and commission enquiries.

Provide some office management support

About you:

  • You will have worked in a similar role in a similar firm and you will have an understanding of Group Life, Group Income Protection, Group Critical Illness and Group Private Medical Insurance Schemes, Group Travel, Group Dental, Cash Plans, & Employee Assistance Programmes.
  • Attention to detail/accuracy and data management skills will be important for this role as is good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Preferred qualifications: Financial Services, Regulation and Ethics (R01) , Healthcare Insurance Products (IF7), Group Risk (GR1)
