About the Role:

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive the expansion of our Mental Health Step-Down and Supported Living Care Homes across England. This role focuses on identifying growth opportunities, managing key stakeholder relationships, and leading the launch of new services. Covering multiple regions, it requires a strategic and proactive approach to service development and business growth.

???????Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement growth strategies for mental health step-down and supported living services
  • Identify new business opportunities, including partnerships, funding, and service expansion
  • Build strong relationships with commissioners, local authorities, and healthcare professionals
  • Oversee the successful launch of new services, ensuring regulatory compliance
  • Conduct market research to identify service gaps and demand trends
  • Develop and present proposals to secure contracts and funding
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure high service standards
  • Monitor business performance and identify areas for improvement
  • Represent the organisation at industry events and stakeholder meetings

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven business development experience in mental health, supported living, or social care
  • Strong understanding of mental health step-down services and supported living models
  • Experience managing relationships with commissioners, NHS partners, and local authorities
  • Track record of launching and developing new care services
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strategic thinker with excellent negotiation and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects across different regions
  • Willingness to travel across England as required
