We are working with a client who is recruiting for a Head of Bids to join its team in London. You will be joining an international business and technology consultancy to build from the ground up a new centre of excellence. Alongside this you will be overseeing the development and delivery of bids, managing frameworks, and leading the bid management process.
Head of Bids Job Definition and Responsibilities:
- Establish Bid Management as a centre of excellence.
- Implement Bid management processes and procedures.
- Implement and promote the use of tooling and assets.
- Create and deliver Learning & Development Bid management assets to educate the business on how to create winning proposals.
- Facilitate and report on the identification of new opportunities across frameworks and tender process.
- Facilitate opportunity go / no go company process.
- Oversee and manage existing and future framework contracts and their KPIs
- Track and manage bid budgets and spend.
- Provide close integration with COE to manage forward demand for SMEs for both bid production and delivery.
- Provide leadership and management responsibilities, including the identification of associate support and continuous build out of bid and proposal general personnel.
- Lead bid management responsibilities for the key account and strategic opportunities.
- Create and manage a library of FAQ, Case studies, CVs and exemplar bid answers.
Head of Bids Required Skills
- 10-years plus of managing large bids and leading teams
- Ideally worked on large public sector frameworks within the IT or Consultancy space.
- Experience in bid management, proposal development, and framework management.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
- Analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of business development processes.
