Key responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing a Caseload of apprentices to achieve their Level 5 Leader in Adult Care Apprenticeship.
  • Train and assess level 5 in Health and social care, as well as provide support with lower levels such as 2&3 and Functional Skills.
  • Arrange on-site visits with learners in order to carry out observations and ensure they are on track.
  • Ensure all required records are completed to meet esfa and Ofsted requirements.

Required skills/ experience and qualifications:

  • Hold either a level 5 in Management In Health and Social Care, OR, the old level 4 Diploma (Which is the equivalent).
  • Assessor Qualification e.g., D32/D33, A1 or CAVA.
  • PTLLS/AET or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience as a registered manager for a minimum of two years.
  • Experience in support apprenticeships or previous roles as an assessor.
