Morgan Hunt have partnered with a long established education provider in East London who are recruiting for an Apprenticeship Business Development Manager. This organisation puts young people at the heart of what they do by offering wide range of programmes to support them into employment. The primary function of this role is to strengthen existing employer relationships whilst forging new ones by offering the clients Apprenticeships and Employability programmes. This is a full time, permanent role which will be office based for the first 2/3 months and then will offer some hybrid working. The salary for this position is paying between £38,000-£45,000.The Apprenticeship Business Development Manager will be responsible for:

  • Identifying employers within London to form new and repeat business for Apprentices and Employability learners
  • Creating an Apprenticeship sales strategy
  • Developing a wide range of activities such as cold calling and clients meetings to create leads and cross sell opportunities
  • Preparing, creating and submitting quality proposals and bids to secure business
  • Ensuring employer feedback is obtained to support the learners journey
  • Meeting students frequently to understand which vacancies are required
  • Ensuring employers compliance with ESFA funding rules

The Apprenticeship Business Development Manager will need to:

  • Be educated to degree level or have the equivalent work experience
  • Have a proven track record in business development of Apprenticeships and Employability programmes
  • Have a strong understanding of working with NEET and hard to reach learners
  • Have in depth knowledge of OFSTED requirements
  • Have the willingness to travel across London

In return, The Apprenticeship Business Development Manager will receive:

  • an annual salary between £38,000-£45,000
  • 25 days annual leave rising with service plus bank holidays
  • 7% employer and 2% employee pension contribution
