£42,000Central LondonHybridTHE COMPANY: My client is a large membership body and regulator, who set, uphold, and advance Veterinary standards.THE ROLE: This role offers a unique chance to lead the design, development, and integration of digital learning courses for the Academy's online learning management system (LMS). The successful candidate will work within the Academy team and collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging and innovative digital learning content. A creative mindset, coupled with a flexible and positive approach, is essential to excel in this role.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and Create Digital Learning Content:
  • Apply instructional design theories and methods for interactive learning solutions.
  • Create and edit accessible and diverse video content aligned with best practices.
  • Design content that enhances the learner journey and experience.
  • Ensure consistency across the Academy platform in line with branding.
Collaborate with Stakeholders:
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with College departments.
  • Work with subject-matter experts to develop content, ensuring best digital learning practice.
  • Advise on and implement appropriate digital learning tools to maximise content efficacy.
  • Ensure materials are hosted optimally in collaboration with the Digital team.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Test and maintain digital learning content to ensure functionality.
  • Review learner feedback to identify and suggest improvements.
  • Explore digital learning solutions in response to data and learning needs analysis.
  • Stay informed of emerging best practices and innovations in digital learning design.
Project Management:
  • Organise and prioritise workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with multiple teams to ensure project completion.
  • Adhere to a quality assurance framework ensuring high-quality content.

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in multimedia design, digital learning design, or web design/development.
  • Proven experience with IT systems and Microsoft packages.Extensive experience working with a learning management system (Moodle).
  • Highly skilled in designing multimedia for educational purposes.
  • Excellent graphic design and video-editing skills.
  • Proficient in using a range of authoring software and creative programs.
  • Strong written and oral development skills, including writing instructional text and scripts.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working as part of a team and supporting colleagues.
  • Creative and innovative mindset with a passion for professional development.
Desirable Skills and Experience
  • Qualification in digital learning design.
  • Experience within the veterinary or medical sectors.
