The Greater London Authority are looking to recruit a Learning and Organisational Development Adviser on a 3-month interim basis.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is skilled in managing multiple projects and stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will design and deliver key learning and development initiatives that align with our organisational goals.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Coordinate and support the delivery of learning and development activities.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders to build effective relationships and ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Utilise project management methodologies to manage multiple projects efficiently.
  • Write board papers and ensure clear communication across all levels of the organisation.
  • Analyse and present data in a clear and understandable format.
  • Coordinate procurement activities with shared service providers and manage contracts effectively.
  • Support the design of learning programmes with providers and handle the daily queries of the C&L team.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing learning programmes, including coordination of attendees, working with suppliers, and managing budgets and timeframes.
  • Strong ability to build working relationships and work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) to provide written briefings and deliver in-house presentations.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills to develop innovative programmes that meet organisational needs.
  • Ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities within a complex environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • IT literacy, particularly in software such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
