We are seeking an ACL Coordinator to join a dynamic team, playing a pivotal role in delivering high-quality adult education and skills training for the Royal Borough of Greenwich.
About the Role
Reporting to the Innovation and Distance Learning Manager, you will lead the coordination of adult and community learning programmes, ensuring a diverse and engaging curriculum that supports healthy, integrated, and resilient communities. Working closely with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for programme development, quality assurance, and ensuring all contractual and financial targets are met.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and coordinate all ACL curriculum activity, ensuring a responsive and engaging provision.
- Build relationships with community organisations and work alongside the Innovation and Recruitment Manager to design programmes aligned with the Royal Borough of Greenwich ACL contract.
- Oversee the tracking, reviews, and assessment cycles, ensuring learners progress effectively.
- Act as the first point of contact for learners, supporting a positive student experience.
- Ensure smooth operations at the Greenwich Park campus, including health and safety compliance.
- Monitor internal quality assurance processes, assessment practices, and provide constructive feedback to tutors.
- Support teaching duties where required and contribute to the production of self-assessment reports.
- Deputise for the Innovation and Distance Learning Manager in their absence.
About You:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A Level 3 vocational qualification or equivalent in a relevant field.
- Current and valid Enhanced DBS
- A teaching qualification (PTLLS minimum) or be working towards one.
- Experience in assessing, training, and delivering to agreed quality and performance targets.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with learners and community partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a keen eye for detail.
