Job title: Training Manager Location: Nationwide role if needed – London based mostly. Package: £55,000-£65,000 OTE to be discussed, plus company car (personal usage allowed). 37.5 hours per week, 25 days holiday + BH and Xmas shut down (not taken for holiday allowance), medical insurance, fuel card, laptop and mobile and finally 2 x death in service.

We are currently working on the behalf of a company who have been around the HVAC sector for over 20 years in the UK. Who are still going from strength to strength

They are now looking to recruit a highly motivated, self-driven Training Manager and someone with their finger on the pules in regards to HVAC / Heating industry regulations.

With the office being based in London, and the role is mostly London based, going into the office would be expected, the role would, at times would require the successful applicant to travel nationwide to deliver training on new products and regulations.

The Role

  • Deliver all training on products and legislation and legislation changes, keeping their finger on the pulse on any changes to the law
  • The candidate will be judged on sales growth, annually.

Skills and Experience

  • Experienced in Heat Pumps, boilers, water heats – all things heating.
  • Requires someone with experience in delivering product and legislation presentations, they’ve created to staff, stakeholders, external and internal sales staff – making it inter active.
  • The ability to speak to installers and service partners.
  • Creating training power points.
  • Condensing manufacturing booklets and condensing them into just the vital points, and the information that is a necessity in order to be fully understood and no missing out any vital points on both the product and up to date legislation needed to instal / use the product in order for it to be safely installed / used. In some cases, the booklets can be 900 pages, so they need to be condensed into a smaller power point / word document. Making it quick and easier for the staff member to understand / quickly find out the information they’re looking for.
  • The successful candidate must have excellent IT skills and be able to create clear, accurate and company branded documents.

In return

  • If you feel you would excel within this role and have the required experience, then we are willing to pay up to £65,000 with the potential to a much larger amount with OTE, along with a car allowance and 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and xmas shut down not removed from the allowance, plus a fuel card.
