About the opportunity:
My client is currently recruiting permanently for a Training Manager to be based from their office in Central London. Reporting to the Health and Safety Leader, as a Training Manager, you will be responsible for providing weekly training reports to the Health and Safety team; conducting training audits at site level; monitoring, managing and arranging training renewals; attending trade body meetings specific to training; managing grant and levy financial information, sentinel administration, coordinating drug and alcohol screenings and managing apprenticeship schemes from onboarding through to completion to name just a few duties.
About the requirements:
Due to the specialist nature of works, my client is requiring a professional who has worked as a Training Manager whilst employed by a construction company. It is imperative you have a good understanding of training requirements within the construction industry (such as CSCS, CPCS and CCDO) and of apprenticeship schemes levy and training grants. Additionally, you must hold knowledge of rail industry sentinel database and sentinel scheme rules and reside within commutable distance from Central London (as this is an office based role).
About the salary & rewards:
For this permanent opportunity, my client is targeting professionals looking to earn anywhere from £45,000 - £52,000 per annum however there may be flexibility on this as the specific salary will depend on experience and suitability. Furthermore, there will be a generous package offered which includes all travel expenses covered, private health care, and enrolment on to the company pension scheme.
