Landlord and Tenant Solicitor - London


An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Landlord and Tenant Solicitor or Legal Executive to start as soon as possible with an established boutique London law firm. With a focus on client care, this multi-office practice offers services for a diverse range of specialities, including family, residential property, immigration, employment, civil and commercial litigation, private clients, and legal contracts.


The successful Solicitor or Legal Executive will have at least 1 - 3 years of PQE specialising in Family Law.

The role

  • Possession or eviction proceedings brought by a private landlord
  • Possession or eviction proceedings brought by a Housing Association/Trust or a Local Authority
  • Claims or counterclaims for damages for disrepair, including getting injunctions requiring your landlord to carry out repairs
  • Mortgage repossession
  • Squatter's rights/adverse possession
  • Homelessness applications, including reviews, appeals in the County Court and judicial review of Local Authority's decisions
  • Harassment and/or unlawful eviction by your landlord
  • HMO licensing disputes and appeals against local authority penalty charge notices


Applications are welcome from Landlord and Tenant Solicitors/ Legal Executives with

  • Family Solicitors with 1 - 3 years PQE
  • You will have qualified as a Solicitor or Legal Executive and hold previous experience in a similar role
  • Hold a current and Clean Practising certificate
