This role is 3 days per week and would really suit someone returning work or looking to reduce hours to suit their needs.

We are looking for a qualified Solicitor to join a growing hospitality business / family office. The role will require general legal knowledge with a strong bias towards conveyancing matters and franchise models.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Legal Compliance: Ensuring that the company adheres to all relevant laws and regulations, including industry-specific standards.
  • Contract Management: Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts and agreements to protect the company's interests.
  • Risk Management: Identifying potential legal risks and developing strategies to mitigate them.
  • Employment Law: Advising on issues related to employment contracts, workplace policies, and disputes.
  • Mergers and Acquisitions: Providing legal support for mergers, acquisitions, and other corporate transactions.
  • Due Diligence: Conducting title searches to confirm ownership and check for any encumbrances, liens, or legal restrictions on the property.
  • Liaison with Other Parties: Working closely with real estate agents, brokers, banks, and other legal professionals to ensure a smooth transaction. Coordinating with surveyors and inspectors for property assessments.
  • Settlement and Completion
  • Knowledge and understanding of franchisee / franchisor role, duties and responsibilities

Both conveyancing experience and an understanding of franchise models are valuable in this business.

The role is based in West London but the group are happy to consider remote work on some days too.
