Our client is an international bank based in the City, seeking a Credit Analyst to join their growing team. We have numerous roles for candidates with experience in the following areas Either Project Finance, Corporate Finance or Large Corporates. This role will involve evaluating credit proposals, with a focus on transactions, while ensuring that all credit decisions adhere to the bank’s policies and risk appetite.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide detailed credit evaluation reports, analysing financial and non-financial risks, and making recommendations to mitigate key risks.- Review and challenge proposals from the Front Office, presenting independent credit opinions to the Credit Committee.- Monitor borrower performance, industry trends, and credit exposures, ensuring all covenants are adhered to throughout the loan life cycle.- Support senior management with timely risk analysis and suggest appropriate risk mitigation strategies.- Conduct annual reviews of existing customers and proactive monitoring for early warning signals.

Candidate Requirements:

- Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role ideally within either Project Finance,Large corporates or corporate finance - Strong financial analysis, projection, and stress-testing skills.

- Direct experience within 2nd line defence - Ability to assess and mitigate risks across various industries and sectors.- Exceptional problem-solving and negotiation skills, with a proactive and independent mindset.
