Trainee Mortgage Adviser- Self Employed

Location: Hammersmith, London / full time office based

Key Responsibilities

As a Trainee Mortgage Adviser, you will:

  • Advise clients on a broad range of mortgage options, including residential, specialist lending, and private banking products.
  • Work with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored mortgage advice.
  • Handle incoming leads from our extensive network of top estate agents and property developers.
  • Build and develop your own client base, providing expert advice throughout the mortgage process.

The Person

  • Knowledge of the UK property market or UK financial services experience is preferred.
  • Sales experience with a strong desire to succeed and build a business.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Confident, proactive, and resourceful with excellent communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements to Join Capricorn as a Mortgage Broker:

  • A basic mortgage qualification (CeMAP Module 1 or RO1) is required to join. Ideally, you should have the full CeMAP qualification or RO6, but we encourage you to obtain this during your role.
  • Comfortable working in a self-employed role and building your own business on the Capricorn platform.

Realistic Earnings Potential

  • Year 1: £40,000 - £50,000
  • Year 2: £80,000 - £120,000
  • Year 3: £150,000+
  • Year 4: £200,000+
  • Top performers earn £500k+ per annum.
