This is an office based role and applicants will be required to work early hours - starting at 6am and finishing at 2pm with an hour's lunch break.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Credit Controller in overseeing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
- Monitor debtor balances
- Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers.
- Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
- Liaise with customers to resolve any payment issues and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
- Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status for senior management.
- Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of credit control processes and financial principles.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
