This is an office based role and applicants will be required to work early hours - starting at 6am and finishing at 2pm with an hour's lunch break.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Senior Credit Controller in overseeing the credit control process, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices.
  • Monitor debtor balances
  • Conduct credit checks on new and potential customers.
  • Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
  • Liaise with customers to resolve any payment issues and negotiate payment plans if necessary.
  • Prepare regular reports on credit control activities and debtor status for senior management.
  • Collaborate with the sales and finance teams to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of credit control processes and financial principles.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.
