Role Description:

Bridge Recruitment have an exciting opportunity for a Credit Controller to join the Team of one of our clients, a commercial and specialist cleaning company in London. Providing commercial contract cleaning services for almost 50 years, our client is genuinely customer-focused and really strives to deliver precise cleaning solutions based on their clients' needs. As Credit Controller, you will be responsible for budgeting, invoicing and processing payments, ensuring these are made within deadlines and liaising with the accounts department where necessary. The ideal Credit Controller will have previous experience in a similar role, with excellent IT and numeracy skills, coupled with good customer service and organisational skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Budgeting

  • Invoicing

  • Collecting and processing payments

  • Maintain relationships with existing customers including negotiating terms of payment

  • Investigate discrepancies between monthly budgets and actual results

  • Ensure prompt payment from customers and suppliers

  • Contact customers and suppliers about overdue payments

  • Checking credit records

  • Monitor late payments

  • Manage customer files

  • Track outstanding invoices and liaise with the accounts department when necessary

  • Analyse past transactions to make recommendations to improve performance
