They seek a credit controller to join the team immediately to support the credit function on a one-year contract.
Your New RoleAs the Accounts Receivable Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in the Accounts Receivable team. Your responsibilities include
- Proactively chasing debt
- Recording and resolving customer queries,
- Supporting the AR Manager,
- Daily cash postings and allocations,
- Raising invoices/credit notes, maintaining clear reporting,
- Attending weekly Sales meetings,
- Managing customer orders,
- Negotiating payment plans
- Performing month-end reconciliations
What You'll Need to Succeed
- Previous credit control experience in the retail industry is preferable but not essential.
- Familiarity with handling a European ledger and multicurrency's
- Experience in resolving queries, dealing with debit notes, and daily cash posting is a plus.
- Proficient in written communication, numeracy, and Excel.
- Positive and resilient attitude, capable of building rapport quickly.
- Well-organised and able to work under pressure.
- Confident communication skills over the phone, via email, and face to face.
- Strong negotiating skills.
- Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and targets.
