They seek a credit controller to join the team immediately to support the credit function on a one-year contract.

Your New RoleAs the Accounts Receivable Credit Controller, you will play a crucial role in the Accounts Receivable team. Your responsibilities include

  • Proactively chasing debt
  • Recording and resolving customer queries,
  • Supporting the AR Manager,
  • Daily cash postings and allocations,
  • Raising invoices/credit notes, maintaining clear reporting,
  • Attending weekly Sales meetings,
  • Managing customer orders,
  • Negotiating payment plans
  • Performing month-end reconciliations

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Previous credit control experience in the retail industry is preferable but not essential.
  • Familiarity with handling a European ledger and multicurrency's
  • Experience in resolving queries, dealing with debit notes, and daily cash posting is a plus.
  • Proficient in written communication, numeracy, and Excel.
  • Positive and resilient attitude, capable of building rapport quickly.
  • Well-organised and able to work under pressure.
  • Confident communication skills over the phone, via email, and face to face.
  • Strong negotiating skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines and targets.
