Your New Company

One of the leading integrated marketing agencies in the UK, with offices in the UK and the Middle East. They are dedicated to fostering a diverse and inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported. They are looking for a credit controller to join the vibrant global team.

Your New RoleAs a credit controller, you will report to the senior credit controller. Your primary responsibilities will include managing debts in both the UK and the Middle East, and working collaboratively with other credit controllers in the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure payments are received according to contractual terms.
  • Manage the upload of invoices to ensure timely receipt by clients (where applicable).
  • Handle purchase order numbers on invoices to avoid rejections and ensure timely payments, including managing missing, overbilled, or incorrect POs with internal staff and clients.
  • Forecast cash receipts and monitor against actuals.
  • Resolve account queries.
  • Prepare regular reports on debtor status.
  • Daily posting of all cash receipts.
  • Cash allocation.
  • Dispute resolution, including managing any ensuing legal process once approved by the group finance director.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to professionally engage with senior management, staff at all levels, and clients' finance departments.
  • An organised, meticulous, and self-disciplined approach.
  • Capability to work as an integral part of a team and meet group and individual deadlines.
  • Ideally, someone with media agency industry knowledge.
