Credit Controller
£34,000 - £37,000 + 10% bonus
Nr Bond Street, London - Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 days home
An exciting opportunity to join a prestigious company as a Credit Controller, part of a London team of 10.
- You will be responsible for a high value ledger dealing with luxury brands and high net worth individuals.
- Responsible for Credit Control and Cash Application duties and be working to KPI’s
- Managing a multicurrency ledger of 20 -50million monthly
- Responsible for chasing customers for outstanding debts
- Reconciling accounts
- Ensuring queries are resolved for key high value level client accounts
- Allocation of multicurrency payments received
- Escalating issues relating to potential bad debts to the Credit Manager
- Liaising with clients and following up on actions taken
- Building and maintaining relationships with clients
- Investigate, manage and resolve all disputes quickly and efficiently
- Attending client meetings to discuss any finance questions or queries when necessary
- Agreeing payment and repayment plans with customers when needed and/or initiating legal proceedings
- Ensuring compliance with the company credit policy, business processes and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
- Assist with generating reports for cash collection and identifying problem areas
- Identifying and recommending opportunities for process improvement
- Preparing daily and ad-hoc reporting for management at month end and as requested
Requirements
- 3-5years Credit Control experience as a minimum
- Experience of dealing with high values or high net worth accounts
- Self-motivated and driven to hit KPI’s
- Demonstrate intermediate Excel and strong analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Prior experience with SAP or similar accounting software is highly beneficial
