German Speaking Credit Controller (home based)

German Speaking Credit Controller£28,000 - £30,000 basic salary + excellent bonus/commission package (up to £1000 per month) + team bonus100% home based role

A rapidly expanding international debt collection agency is currently looking for an experienced commercial credit professional with fluent German language skills, as well as fluency in English, to join its credit management team.

You will be part of a highly experienced and skilled global collections team, where you will be responsible for your own portfolio of customers covering German and English speaking markets. You will be actively managing your ledger across a range of different industries focusing on maximising cash collection, query management, and working towards targets. Prior experience of working with Oracle is also essential.

This role will be a home based position.

Duties:

• Actively managing your portfolio to maximise cash collection
• Managing complex queries and disputes through to resolution
• Ensuring all updates are logged in a timely manner on system
• Escalation of cases to DCA when appropriate
• Working towards and achieving targets set
• Adhering to country specific legal and financial regulations

Skills Required:

• Proven experience within commercial debt collection/credit control is essential.
• Fluency in German (as well as English) is essential.
• Working knowledge of Oracle is essential
• Negotiation and dispute resolution skills
• Proven ability to work in a target driven environment
• Excellent time management skills
• Outstanding communications skills both verbally and written
• Team player, whilst demonstrating ability to work autonomously (especially as this is a remote based role)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Self motivated
• Strong Excel skills
