  • The successful candidate will either have Credit Control experience gained in the Insurance or Financial Services sector, or you will have experience of working in the Insurance sector in a different role and keen to learn Credit Control
  • In this role you will be liaising with Underwriters, Claims Handlers, and Members/Brokers therefore excellent communication skills will be required
  • Minimising the outstanding debts due from the allocated Members
  • Effectively chasing up Members/Brokers where responses are absent or inadequate
  • Responding promptly to queries
  • Processing the payment of commissions of brokers in accordance with procedures
  • Creating the appropriate accounting entries
  • Performing quarterly reconciliations between the credit control and underwriting systems
  • You will be proficient in using the Microsoft Office suite, including strong Excel skills
