Credit Controller - 3 days per week -
Set 3 days a week (no swapping and changing each week)
Qualifications:
- Qualified to 'A' Level standard/AAT Foundation Level and looking to continue
- developing their accounting knowledge or similar relevant experience.
Experience:
- A good understanding of bookkeeping principles is desirable. A demonstrable
- record of success in a previous role. Knowledge of data entry and SAGE Accounts.
Job Purpose:
To maintain records of financial transactions specifically sales invoices / receipts
and manage the aged debtors to ensure customers pay their invoices on time
whilst ensuring legal requirements are complied with.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assisting the Finance Team with the posting of sales invoices and receipts.
* Credit Control, chasing customers for payment in a professional manner. Manage and maintain an aged
debt analysis of all outstanding payments.
* Manage the escalation process (for payments outside of terms).
* Establish and maintain regular communications with clients to facilitate payments, updating records where
necessary.
* Reconciliation of Petty Cash.
* Any other miscellaneous admin tasks to support the wider teams.
