Senior Credit Controller - Recruitment Business

Are you a seasoned Credit Controller / hands on Credit Control Manager who speaks Dutch? Do you love a challenge and have experience of invoice financing?

We Do Group are delighted to be supporting a global recruitment business, recruiting an Interim Credit Controller to support their Dutch business.

If you’re confident in collections, experienced with invoice financing, and know your way around a messy ledger, this is a role that will play to your strengths. We Do Group are excited to be partnering with a global recruitment business to find an Interim Credit Controller who can support their Dutch entity during a pivotal period of change.

This is a hands-on, sleeves-rolled-up role where you’ll take charge of the sales ledger, chase outstanding debt, and work closely with the team to implement best practice processes. You’ll also play a key role in training existing staff, improving cash flow, and bringing structure to the credit control function. If you’re someone who leads by example, knows how to prioritise for impact, and enjoys making an immediate difference—this one’s got your name on it.

THE ROLE - INTERIM

  • Hands on collection role
  • Prioritising and tidying up the sales ledger
  • Train existing staff on best practice

THE ROLE - WHAT THE PERM JOB SPEC SAYS

  • Take full ownership of the credit control ledger and develop a clear plan to reduce overdue balances
  • Contact customers directly via phone, email, and other platforms to collect outstanding payments
  • Prioritise accounts based on age, value, and risk to maximise cash collection
  • Build strong internal relationships with sales, finance, and operations to resolve disputes quickly
  • Train and support existing staff on credit control processes, tone of voice, and escalation procedures
  • Monitor and report on debt position, DSO, and collection performance
  • Identify process improvements to streamline credit control activity

YOUR PROFILE

  • Experienced Credit Controller / Credit Control Manager
  • Fluent Dutch speaker
  • Experience working with (or implementing) invoice financing
  • Effective communicator - written & verbal
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel
