Group Senior Credit Controller

Salary: £38,000

Location: North West London

Hybrid: 5 days in the office per week initially, reducing to 4 days

An exclusive and rare opportunity to join a worldwide leading logistics business headquartered in North West London. The growth of the business has led to a fantastic opening for a client facing focused Group Senior Credit Controller to essentially be the Head of Credit's second in command. You will be responsible for a team of Credit Controllers, while possessing excellent organisational & communication skills, with the ability to work under pressure and a desire to continuously improve systems, processes & drive efficiency.

Main responsibilities and requirements:

  • Proven ability to manage ledgers with more than 300 customers
  • Must possess Excel to Advanced level - 'V' Look Ups & Pivot Tables are essential
  • Issue Weekly Cash Forecast Report
  • Raising Interest and Administration charge invoices, where required
  • Place overdue client accounts on hold
  • Housekeeping - Tidy up zero balance accounts
  • Monthly statement runs - responsible for customer statement runs
  • Handling Customer Queries - liaising with customers to ensure that all queries are handled in a professional and timely manner
  • Credit Control Meetings - Able to report to Group Credit Control Manager on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Update and Distribution of weekly report relating to Corporate Client accounts, to internal Stakeholders
  • Litigation Action - possess the ability to decide in a timely fashion, clients who require litigation
  • End of Month - ensure the Debtors' ledgers are closed off on time
  • Assist the Group Credit Control Manager with project work
  • Recording of Customer Queries - in the accounting system file
  • Open New Credit Accounts and increase Credit Limits
  • Assist with delinquent customers
  • Month end reconciliation
  • Ensure that balance on cash books reconcile
  • Record and archive documents on a timely basis
  • Attend any training and other courses that the Company nominates you to attend
