Senior Credit Controller (Property)Location - London/City£40k - £48kThe role: This role entails managing the credit and collections processes to ensure timely payments from lease hold tenants.Duties:

  • Monitor and enforce existing credit policies whilst ensuring best practice across the AR function.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with tenants, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage accounts receivable aging reports, following up on overdue payments, issuing reminders, and initiating collections actions to maximize cash flow.
  • Set up payment arrangements with delinquent tenants and clients to resolve disputes and minimize financial losses.
  • Analyse credit and collections data to identify trends, assess portfolio performance, and forecast cash flow projections.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and lease agreements.
  • Continually Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within the credit and collection’s function, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency.
  • Provide guidance and training to credit control staff to optimize team performance and achieve departmental goals.

Requirements:

  • Prior Credit Control experience within a Surveying practice or Landlord of handling the end to end process
  • Experience of evidence of Debt Reductions - Ageing analysis, Bad Debt Provisions , Query Management , Team Development, Knowledge of Enforcement (CRAR, Statutory Demand, Forfeiture and Protective Control Agreements)
  • Ability to work under pressure when needed with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills - both verbal and written
