Our client is an international bank based in the city an opportunity has arisen for a senior credit officer. The main focus of the role will be:

  • Assess the feasibility of corporate loan documents, manage facility onboarding and pre-disbursement checks, oversee credit file archiving, and handle loan administration within the system.
  • Lead the documentation review and archiving team, developing and implementing standardized procedures.
  • Conduct regular audits to identify areas for improvement and ensure timely and accurate archiving.
  • Prepare reports and presentations on documentation activities, and serve as a subject matter expert on documentation management practices.
  • Assess the feasibility of corporate loan documents, ensuring all drawdown requirements are met prior to disbursement.
  • Review credit documentation for compliance, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
  • Review credit proposals and participate in credit committee meetings, providing insights and maintaining accurate records.
  • Implement standardized procedures for reviewing and archiving documentation, assist in developing risk control measures, and conduct regular audits.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to address issues, stay updated on regulatory developments, and provide support to new team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong chart-making skills.
