We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join our team and manage the development of digital learning products (including VR), from research and scoping through to testing, quality assurance and final delivery. We are looking for an inspirational individual with versatile project management skills, who is confident in managing suppliers, presenting to stakeholders and leading a team to deliver successful outcomes. This is based on Holocaust theme.
Responsible for:
- Managing the development of learning products (including VR products) & ensuring that they meet the agreed scope, timeframe and budget. Youll oversee multiple connected workstreams and ensure that they are delivered according to the project brief & expected quality criteria.
- Regularly reporting and presenting to senior stakeholders and a highly engaged project board, including preparation of papers, agendas, decks and progress reports.
- Maintaining collaborative and productive working relationships with partners, both in the UK and internationally.
- Pro-actively identifying & documenting project risks, ensuring these are raised and addressed in a timely manner.
- End-to-end procurement: overseeing procurement processes, including recruiting, contracting and managing suppliers and partner agencies. Responsible for monitoring suppliers and ensuring that all deliverables meet agreed scope, budget and timeframes.
- Managing the project budget, including tracking income & expenditure and reporting to the project board.
- Working with the Insights and Data lead, and other colleagues in the team, to capture and disseminate project learning and ensure that this learning is used to tailor and adjust the project approach going forward.
Person Specification (Essential):
- Sound knowledge of project management methodologies (Waterfall, Agile);
- Working knowledge of project management tools, such as Excel, Smartsheet, MS Project or similar;
- Dynamic and diligent, with excellent communication skills and an ability to build relationships, trust, and respect at all levels;
- Problem solving and influencing skills;
- Knowledge of MEL processes, and understanding of how best to ensure learnings feed into an evolving project cycle;
- Strong communications skills, able to work effectively across a team and across organisations;
- Ability to work to tight timeframes;
- Vibrant, enthusiastic, and dependable individual, with a clear passion and commitment to the aims and values of the Organisation
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Experience of managing priorities across a large and dynamic team, managing key, strategic projects including allocating tasks and managing risks, decisions, and changes;
- Proven experience of managing a large-project, working cross organisationally, with national and international partners;
- Experience in report writing, tracking project progress and risks;
- Track record of strong financial management skills, including budget planning, management and reporting;
- Experience in developing and managing projects or programmes for use in educational settings
- Experience and confidence in developing and managing project plans and governance processes;
- Experience in managing contracts with sub-contractors/providers
- Knowledge of Jewish faith and history is desirable
