THE ROLE

As the Guest Relations Manager you will be responsible for ensuring all of our guests have a memorable stay with us; where we not only meet but exceed their expectations. Your tasks will include but will not be limited to:

  • Manage and oversee the entire guest journey from post reservation to check in through to departure.
  • Review the incoming guests on a weekly basis in order to assign appropriate rooms, establish guests needs in advance of their arrival and prepare appropriate amenities
  • Create a bespoke check in experience for VIPs to ensure discretion and privacy if necessary.
  • Develop and implement guest relations strategies with the Director of Rooms to further improve the guest experience.
  • To be the key point of contact for any VIP guest staying with us ensuring you build a strong positive and ongoing relationship with them.
  • Manage and provide direction to all employees on the floor during shifts and events.
  • Ensure correct use of all reservations systems for any VIP bookings.
  • Be forward thinking and innovative when it comes to ways of working and best practice.
  • To offer strong leadership, mentoring, and guidance to your team.
  • To be an ambassador for Nobu as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our teams.

EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 2 years experience in an Assistant Guest Experience or Assistant Guest Relations Manager role.
  • Minimum 2 year experience within a 5* Hotel.
  • Strong understanding of OPERA or similar reservation systems.
