Morson Talent are recruiting for a Handyperson / Fabric engineer, to join a leading property maintenance company. The ideal candidate must have a good understanding of general building services. The purpose of the role is to assist the Technical Services team in the provision of FM Services, whilst delivering a high-quality service. The role will include assisting in the operation, of repair and maintenance of Building, Handy person / fabric duties.



The successful candidate must be available to start within the next two weeks,



Duties and Responsibilities:
• General Handy person duties
• Carpentry and joinery (Fire Doors)
• General decorating, fixing repairs, painting & making good.
• Ensure effective lamping replacement is undertaken for all bulbs and tubes
• Repairing all building faults (Tiling, hanging pictures, window frames, Doors, Walls, Ceilings and floors)
• Removing fixtures such as doorknobs and light switch covers if needed
• Assist the engineering team to ensure that all planned and reactive engineering activities meet and exceed both service levels and customer expectations.


Personal specification
Building Maintenance experience
Experience of meeting health and safety obligations regarding maintenance activities
Good verbal communication skills
Committed to the delivery of excellent customer service
To have a calm manner and able to work under pressure
Physically fit and able to carry tools and components by hand

Duration:
2 – 4 months

Pay:
£18.00 - £19.00 per hour PAYE – umbrella is also an option – plus overtime


Hours:
Shift pattern – rotates - 7.00am to 16.00pm 2nd week 10am – 19.00pm, Monday to Friday, with over-time optional
