About the RoleHyperion Partners is excited to partner with a respected social housing provider to recruit a Customer Service Advisor who is passionate about delivering outstanding service to tenants. As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be the first point of contact for tenants, providing excellent customer service, handling inquiries, and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner. You will play a key role in maintaining tenant satisfaction and ensuring that their needs are met in a professional and friendly manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the first point of contact for tenants via phone, email, or in-person, providing information, answering queries, and resolving concerns.
  • Handle a wide range of customer service issues, from general inquiries to more complex tenant-related matters.
  • Ensure that tenants' requests and complaints are logged, followed up, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Assist with the maintenance of tenant records and ensure accurate and up-to-date information is kept.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external contractors to ensure timely responses to tenant issues, including repairs and maintenance requests.
  • Promote a high standard of customer service within the organization by adhering to best practices and policies.
  • Support tenants with information on housing services, policies, and procedures.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a customer service role, ideally within social housing or a similar environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of people.
  • A friendly, empathetic, and professional demeanor when dealing with tenants and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A proactive and solution-focused approach to resolving customer issues.
  • Knowledge of housing policies and procedures would be an advantage, though not essential.
