Join a leading waste management firm serving New York City and Long Island as a Remote Customer Service Representative. As part of our commitment to the NYC Commercial Waste Zone (CWZ) program, we are dedicated to providing top-notch waste and recycling services. This role is crucial in maintaining our reputation for exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Customer Support: Handle inbound calls and emails with professionalism, providing accurate information about our services, including schedules and procedures for trash and recycling collection.
- Issue Resolution: Utilise tools such as Zoho CRM, Zoho billing system, Optimo Route, and Vonage phone system to investigate and resolve customer concerns promptly.
- Data Management: Perform accurate data entry, maintain customer records in our CRM system, and ensure data cleanliness.
- Driver Coordination: Monitor driver routes through Optimo Route software and provide timely updates to customers regarding service status.
- Training & Compliance: Engage in ongoing training to master company systems and adhere to regulatory requirements, enhancing service delivery.
- Process Improvement: Actively contribute to the enhancement of customer service processes and operational efficiency.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, ideally within logistics, waste management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Zoho CRM, billing systems, and familiarity with route optimization tools like Optimo Route.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; multilingual abilities are a plus.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to resolve issues effectively.
- Organization: Exceptional organisational skills with the capability to multitask and manage time efficiently.
- Tech Savvy: Comfortable with cloud-based systems and basic technical troubleshooting.
- Availability: Must be available to work during specified Eastern Time hours and for occasional team meetings or training sessions.

This is a fully remote role, but you may be required to travel to the London office for a team meeting once per quarter - please only apply if this is acceptable.
