- Salary: £28K + discretionary bonus
- Hybrid working 50% after successful completion of the probationary period.
The Main Duties include:
- Engaging with customers via phone, email, secure messaging, and post, providing timely and effective solutions.
- Managing customer queries-identifying needs, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Opening & maintaining accounts-handling transactions, payments, and account updates with accuracy.
- Supporting online banking users-assisting customers in navigating our digital platform.
- Handling complaints with care-resolving concerns professionally or escalating when necessary.
- Ensuring compliance-working closely with internal teams to uphold regulatory standards.
Essential skills and Experience required:
- Customer service experience-ideally within banking, retail, or financial services.
- Strong communication skills-both written and verbal, with an excellent telephone manner.
- Attention to detail-you're meticulous, organised, and thorough.
- Tech-savviness-comfortable with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, and digital platforms.
- Problem-solving mindset-you take initiative and think on your feet to support customers effectively.
Desirable skills:
Banking or financial services experience (especially in Savings).
Knowledge of Consumer Duty, GDPR, or Data Protection regulations.
