My client is seeking a well presented Customer Service Advisor on a temporary basis who will work as part of a team providing the efficient day-to-day operation within libraries and encouraging customers to self-serve. You will deliver a high standard of customer service across all channels. Recognise when customers are vulnerable or require extra assistance and ensure their needs are met, in a professional manner, maintaining high levels of first point of contact resolution and customer satisfaction and to resolve their queries at the first time of asking in a timely manner. To represent the Council as the first point of contact, ensuring the service is customer focused, promote the Council's core values and Customer Service Standards. To promote a love of books and reading, working proactively on reader development, including participation in nationwide reading initiatives. To provide full and accurate information to customers in a friendly and welcoming environment, and deal with the majority of enquiries without referring on. To promote a positive image as a service provider to the local community, working to ensure all customers receive an efficient, effective and high-quality service. To provide first line access to customers for all library, council and voluntary services. To assist Libraries with development and delivery of digital services to customers and provide support in implementation of digital and assisted digital projects.

You will be focused, friendly, excellent written and verbal English and have demonstrated experience in customer services preferably in similar environment. Basic DBS required. Monday to Friday 9-5.30. Apply today for this opportunity!
