Key Information:·         Hourly rate – £16.36 via PAYE or £20.65 via Umbrella·         Working hours: Monday-Friday (35 hours per week)·         Contract Duration – 3 months initial contract (view to extend)·         Location – Hammersmith - full time office based ·         Client: London Fire Brigade·         Start date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

·              Call Centre – receiving and making calls to book home fire safety visit appointments·              Admin duties - sending and responding to emails·              Raising orders for stations·              Processing deliveries·              Dealing with enquiries from the general public and internal staff, including senior management·              Attending Junior citizens, opens days and car wash events·              Using the company’s database to upload/access information

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience of writing correspondence, in plain English, using correct grammar, spelling and appropriate vocabulary.
  • Experience of organising, planning and prioritising own work; meeting deadlines and targets while working flexibly within a team.
  • Experience of using standard computerised office systems in an office environment.
  • Experience of undertaking multi-step manual and computerised administrative processes.
  • Keyboard skills of a sufficient standard to enter data and create documents with speed and accuracy.
  • Experience of taking inbound calls and confident in speaking with answering telephone queries from external stakeholders
