Customer Support Assistant - Positions Available in Battersea and Westminster - £26,200 per annum My client, a leading Student Accommodation firm in London, are currently seeking a number of Customer Support Assistants to act as the first point of contact for residents in their brand new site in Battersea and their largest site in Westminster.You'll be the smiling face that welcomes the residents, delivering excellent customer service and providing solutions to any problems that may arise.This is a fantastic opportunity to join an ambitious, thriving, and innovative company that has a promote from within culture and offers a great career path. The firm are on an accelerated growth plan to double in size over the next 3-4 years.Duties:

  • First point of contact for residents offering excellent customer service
  • Providing a practical and timely solution to any issues that may arise including communicating maintenance issues to colleagues
  • Assisting with running of social events
  • Carrying out checks and building walks
  • Assisting contractors, visitors and university partners with their requirements.
  • Inspecting communal areas; the lifts, corridors, residents' rooms (prior to their check-out)
  • Carrying out a room inspection or showing a potential resident one of the suites or studios
  • Supporting on-boarding of new colleagues into the team; answering questions and sharing your knowledge
  • Assisting with parcels and post queries
  • Undertake training on different processes: how we keep residents and colleagues safe and GDPR
  • Dealing with issues or incidents and calling the emergency services when needed
  • Working with your other colleagues from the Maintenance and Night Teams to achieve the best results and solutions for our residents
  • Understanding the importance of Health & Safety and Fire Safety in all that is done and report anything that is not safe

Skills and Experience Required:

  • Prior experience in a Customer Service focused role
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build report
  • Able to use own initiative
  • Self-starter
  • Effective IT skills including working knowledge of Microsoft

Location: Positions available in Battersea or Westminster Hours: 5 out of 7 days, 7.5 hours a day on a flexible shift system (7:30am to 4pm; 8:30am to 5pm; 10:30am to 7pm and 12pm/12:30pm to 8:30pm/9pm)Salary: £26,200 per annum For more information, please contact Megan on the Business Support desk.
