We are seeking an outstanding Head of Reservations to join Josephine restaurants; our much-loved Lyonnais-Bouchon in Chelsea and a new, exciting Parisienne brasserie opening this February in the heart of Marylebone!
In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of reservations for both restaurants, and being the first point of contact of our guests, ensure and deliver exceptional guests satisfaction following our company standards and procedures at all times. A positive teamwork mindset is a must as you will be closely working with the Management team and with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming and interacting with our guests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Effectively managing all aspects of reservations and reception, including events and maximising restaurant cover
- Lead junior employees, ensuring they are guided and trained with appropriate support.
- Handling face-to-face, telephone and email queries in a polite, professional and assertive manner.
What We Are Looking For:
- Prior proven experience in a similar role and/or establishments.
- Previous experience working with SevenRooms platform.
- Confident, polite and professional telephone manner.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with natural leadership potential
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment and work proactively with a hands-on approach while maintaining attention to detail.
- Genuine passion for what you do, with the ability to build long term relationships with our regular guests.
