Merrifield Consultants are delighted to be partnering with an International Membership Organisation to recruit a Part-Time Membership/Customer Service Administrator. This is an exciting opportunity to join a global organisation committed to providing support to its members.

This role is responsible for maintaining membership records, handling customer service enquiries, and supporting event administration. It requires a proactive, detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills to manage membership processes and deliver outstanding service.

Job Title: Membership/Customer Service Administrator
Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day/week in the office)
Salary: 28,000 pro rata
Contract: Part-time - job share (3 days, must be Monday, Wednesday and Friday)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update membership records, ensuring data accuracy and routine checks.
  • Handle member queries via email and phone, providing excellent customer service.
  • Assist with membership renewals, marketing emails, and membership campaigns.
  • Promote and upsell membership services, processing applications, payments, and member data.
  • Support the planning and management of membership events, including sending invitations, managing registrations, and adhering to timelines.
  • Liaise with internal teams to coordinate membership materials and campaigns.


Person Specifications:

  • Customer service experience and proficiency in working with databases.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office packages and CRM systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, organisational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in a membership organisation or similar.
