Our local authority client based in West London are urgently seeking an experienced Sales Support Officer.

*£23.03 an hour Umbrella*

*Predominantly office working*

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The role requires a conscientious person to provide administrative duties to support the divisions entrepreneurial approach to service delivery, maximising sales of new contracts and ensuring that the service strives to 'get it right first time’, thereby ensuring the retention of customers and increasing market share through the acquisition of new customers.

You will promote a positive and helpful image of the commercial waste service, working proactively to resolve problems satisfactorily. The role will work in liaison with all members of the commercial waste team to ensure excellent support for administrative duties, inputting data, answering the telephone, responding to emails, and any other duties that will support the work of this organisation. .

ABOUT THE ROLE

  1. Provide administrative support to customers, answering telephones, responding to emails, processing post and other communication channels as appropriate.
  2. Provide financial and service advice to customers, the Commercial Waste team and other Council Officers as required, using a variety of communication tools, including MS Office package and other relevant products.
  3. Provide administrative system support to the Commercial Waste team, processing digital and analogue documents, accurately inputting information into a variety of databases, maintaining accurate records, managing precise digital and analogue filing and retrieval processes. Undertake annual administrative functions for documentation renewal and retention.
  4. Undertake two-way communications with the Contractor, including providing accurate notifications for all new, amended, and cancelled services, monitoring and reconciling completed work tasks, reviewing service exemptions, and resolving customer service issues and complaints.
  5. Check daily exemptions reports raised by the waste contractor and missed collections raised by the customers, liaising with the Contractor, Commercial Waste team and customers to resolve all queries accordingly
