Hourly Rate: 15.32

Are you an experienced Stores Operative looking for a new opportunity. Our client, a leading organisation in the field, is seeking an enthusiastic individual to join their team. As a key member of their department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of their goods handling and distribution processes.

Responsibilities:

• Receive, book-in, sort, handle, and distribute incoming goods.
• Deliver materials to various locations on the College campuses.
• Issue stock in accordance with inventory management policies.

Requirements:

• Substantial proven experience in a similar role
• Clear knowledge and understanding of operational procedures and health & safety policies.
• Thorough knowledge of relevant work practises and procedures
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, along with good IT skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data input
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• Ability to use initiative with limited supervision to solve problems.
• Previous experience in a busy environment
• Familiarity with specialised equipment such as goods booking-in applications
• Proven customer service skills
• Team player mentality
