The Role:
As a Dance Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and challenging lessons to students across a variety of age groups, from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 4. You will play a key role in developing our dance program, fostering students artistic abilities, and helping them build confidence through creative expression.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality dance lessons that inspire and motivate students.
Support students' development through both practical and theoretical dance education.
Lead extracurricular dance clubs and support school performances and events.
Encourage a love of dance while promoting discipline, teamwork, and personal growth.
Participate in the wider school community and collaborate with staff across different subjects.
What We Are Looking For:
Qualified Dance Teacher (QTS or equivalent) with experience teaching dance at secondary school level - Preferrable
A passion for dance and the ability to inspire students of all abilities.
Strong classroom management skills and the ability to differentiate lessons.
Experience in delivering GCSE Dance or other dance qualifications is desirable.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
A positive attitude and a commitment to student success.
